About TPS&Co.
TPS&Co. is a newly established commercial law firm based in the heart of the Sydney CBD.
Our firm started in October 2018 and has since then grown significantly.
Our lawyers have a background in large and medium-sized law firms.
We all passionately believe that we can deliver a better service to our clients in the environment that we now operate in, without the restraints that are common in larger firms.
We are client-focused, flexible, quick to respond, commercial, and if needed, tenacious.

Terry Sperber
Principal Lawyer
Terry is a senior lawyer at TPS&Co. and I guess we can call him the founder. Terry has over 25 years of experience as a commercial lawyer, specializing in commercial advisory, commercial litigation, insolvency, and dispute resolution across a wide range of industries including property, construction, education, manufacturing and many more.
He has a Bachelor of Economics/Bachelor of Laws, as well as a Master of Laws from UNSW. Terry has previously been at two of Australia’s largest law firms and more recently was a partner at a mid-tier firm.
Terry is a director of Kent institute Australia Pty Limited.

Elizabeth Debono
Senior Lawyer
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Social Inquiry) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney and is an accredited debating adjudicator. Elizabeth is currently completing a Master of Laws at the University of Sydney.
Elizabeth is the CLE Coordinator of the NSW Young Lawyers Civil Litigation Committee and a mentor in the graduate program of the NSW Law Society.
Rachael Hermes
Executive Assistant
Rachael is responsible for overseeing the general management of the company. She is the first point of contact for any enquiries and is a certified Justice of the Peace.
Rachel is currently completing a Bachelor of Criminal and Community Justice to expand her knowledge and expertise.
Yarra Qashou
Paralegal
She is currently completing a Bachelor of Communications (Social and Political Science)/Bachelor of Laws at UTS (due for completion in 2022).
As part of her role as a paralegal, Yarra assists the solicitors on their matters and undertakes a range of administrative duties. Since working at the firm, Yarra has expanded her communication skills and gained valuable experience in commercial litigation.
Dean Nathanson
Paralegal
He is a fourth-year law student studying at UNSW. Dean has always been more attracted to private law subjects at university. This trend was confirmed when he received the UNSW Dean’s list award for first place in Contract law. Dean’s interest in private law and business is what pushed him to get involved with commercial law at TPS&Co. Being part of a fast-paced firm that has experienced senior lawyers has allowed Dean to gain valuable experience in the legal sector. As a paralegal, Dean assists the solicitors on their matters by conducting research and liaising with clients.
